This week marks the beginning of the last nine weeks of school. It is amazing how fast time has flown by, and before we know it, the end of the school year will be here. There is no SOL testing at the end of the sixth grade science course; however, the skills taught this year ARE tested in the 8th grade cumulative test. Because of the lack of SOL test, we continue instruction to the very last days of school. Be prepared!
We will begin the weather segment of the atmosphere and weather unit this week. The atmosphere final test was given last week and will be returned and taped into the interactive notebook. The 3rd nine weeks averages will be distributed and taped into the notebooks, as well. Report cards will be sent home on Friday.
