This week I will be taking a group of seventh graders to Port Isobel Island in the Chesapeake Bay. Last spring, Mrs. Hill and I taught a unit on the Chesapeake Bay, and we promised our students to try to take them there. It took six months to get it worked out! Maybe we'll do it again this year and take you next year...
Because I will have a substitute on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I decided to spend plenty of time covering the renewable energy sources, described in Notepage #3. Students will receive this notepage on Monday, but I will not give a quiz on it until next week (probably Tuesday). Since that is the week of Thanksgiving, I'm worried about student absences. Please let me know asap if you will not be in my class next week.
At this time, this week's homework is to read Notepage #3, the six renewable energy sources, every night.
