October 18-22: This Week in Science

We continue our three-week Introduction to Matter by completing Section One of Chapter One in the book. Over the weekend, students were to have completed the last section of the workbook questions for Section One. We will check them on Monday and review Section One. On Tuesday there will be a quiz on this section, however, students will be allowed to use the workbook pages for help with these difficult concepts. All students should correct and review their workbook answers on Monday night. On Tuesday we will begin the study of Atoms and Molecules, the content of Section Three of Chapter One. Tuesday night students will complete the workbook questions on p. 11 and on Wednesday night they will answer the questions on p. 12. No homework Thursday, NO SCHOOL on Friday! Next week we will get back to hands-on science with an atom and molecule art project as the final unit assessment.
