This week we will conclude the study of Notepage #2: Scientific Inquiry. I will post the flipchart with classroom notes to serve as a study guide, as this information is not found in the textbook. I will announce a quiz date as soon as possible. This week we will also practice observation, inference, and prediction skills by going outside for our first observation of the gardens. Students will be creating an outdoor behavior contract which will cover behavior expectations and consequences during outdoor classroom time. Notepage #3, which covers Fair Test Experiments, will be distributed, and we'll perform our first classroom experiment if time permits.
Pre-AP students will receive their Product Testing Project overview and timeline on Monday, which requires a parent signature. Students will be expected to have an idea for their product to test this week, as well.
