My apologies for the lack of class update this week; I was unaware that I had forgotten...
(isn't that always the case?)
This week we are finishing the movie, Apollo 13, our culmination of the astronomy unit. By Wednesday we will be starting the last units of instruction for the year, loosely title, "The Earth Around Us!" We will be learning about the air, land, and water on our Earth. During that time we will actively apply what we learn by gardening. The spring seeds arrived today and we'll put them in the ground as soon as we add an enriching layer of compost. I expect to have a spring salad garden in the ground by next week, prior to spring break.
