This week we will continue our focus on the similarities and differences of rotation and revolution, and students will be expected to apply these concepts. We will also continue our discussion of the cause of seasons, which is the tilt of the Earth's axis. This information is found on Notepage #3, which is in the students' interactive notebooks. There will be a quiz on this information by Thursday.
Last week all students received their 3rd nine weeks interim grade and were given the assignment to have parents sign the forms. All students who returned the signed forms as directed (the next day) received 10 points of extra credit. Those who return the signed forms a day late will receive no extra credit, but will be given the assigned points. Those who do not bring the signed forms after two days will receive a zero (-10 points) for the assignment. Interim grades of D's and F's will be mailed to parents this week.
