The loss of days with bad weather makes creative lesson planning a necessity. The workbook pages we have been covering are to provide the knowledge for the solar system project that I will assign on our first day back to school. We still have 3 sections to cover in the book (not three chapters!); chapter 19, section 5 on comets, asteroids, and meteors (workbook pages on this section are due tomorrow!), chapter 19, section 2 on the sun, and chapter 18, section 4 on the moon. All are for foundational information, and we will cover these QUICKLY. A study guide will be provided for information necessary for their next quiz.

We will negotiate a due date for the project in class. This will be written in the students' assignment book asap.
