TEST Friday!

Students will be tested on Friday on the two Matter Notepages (p. 28 and 29 in their interactive notebook). We have had these notepages for several weeks and have practiced the information in various ways, including reading and completing the workbook pages for Chapter One, Lessons One and Three, and the two sets of flashcards which give a quick way to learn the 10 vocabulary words found on these two notepages. A study guide was given out on Monday, and it may also be used as a method for study.

Service-learning Survey for Students

On Thursday all of my classes will take the following 10 minute survey about service learning. We will talk about this in class before we start the survey. I have written a grant requesting money to fund our garden based on what the garden is teaching us about taking care of ourselves and others (service). This survey will help us see how we change from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
