- our study of matter by reading chapter one, section three in the textbook. Once again I will be assessing students' understanding of these pages through the completion of the corresponding workbook pages, and
- observing, harvesting, and eating vegetables in our garden. This week we will harvest mustard and cook "Fried Rice with Mustard Greens." (recipe coming soon... if we like it)
Students will be doing the math to double all of the ingredients in the fried rice recipe :-) Based on last week's need to double 1/3 (no, 2/6 is not twice as much!), this should be a fun and interesting experience!
Next week we will focus on Matter Notepages #1 and #2 in the interactive notebooks, upon which the matter unit test will be based.
