By the end of the first week of school all students should now have a spiral notebook to be used as their interactive notebook. I have provided notebooks for most students whose notebooks were too small; parent may reimburse the $1.50 cost to me when it is possible.
All notebooks should be "personalized" by Friday for a grade. That means students should tape on pictures, etc. that make their notebook special. I will cover all notebooks with clear packing tape.
Finally, by Friday all students should turn in their school forms, particularly their science safety form, which requires both parent and student signatures. By Roanoke County policy, a student may not participate in lab experiments until the safety contract is signed.
